In 1945, with a diamond ring sparkling on my left hand, I sadly waved goodbye as my love headed for the Pacific on a Canadian Navy ship. I recorded a special song and sent it to him. Because it could only be played on the ship's public address system, all those Canadian sailors heard the tender love song, "Making Believe", and
dreamed of their own wives and sweethearts. This recording, created 60 years later, is dedicated to my late husband, Jim Beatty.

You must be wondering what keeps an old bird like me still singing......well here’s the scoop.......

Music makes the world go round. It makes us laugh. It keeps our feet tapping. It makes us cry. It touches our deepest hidden places. It is our sunshine. It is life itself.
